Rose Cottage is perfectly located for a couple or a family looking to explore all that Weymouth has to offer. Just a 5 minute walk to the harbour, home to an eclectic mix of galleries, independent coffee shops and restaurants along with plenty of fish and chip shops to choose from, there is lots to do all year round. The nearby Newton's Cove is just a short walk away with shallow waters and rock pools, there is a shingle beach at low tide which is ideal for a quick dip in the sea or even a picnic.
The house itself is cosy and well equipped, it even has a piano for those of you looking to learn a new tune whilst on holiday! The ground floor comprises an open plan living room, which leads into the dining area with stairs coming off it to the first floor. There is a 43 inch Smart TV in the living room, which has all online services but not live channels. At the back of the house is the kitchen, with AGA range, and patio doors leading out to the enclosed garden at the rear (please note, the AGA is the only oven at the house, but there is a conventional hob in the kitchen also).
On the first floor is the newly fitted, stylish family bathroom with walk in shower and a separate freestanding bath. There are also two bedrooms on this floor, both with double beds. Up to the loft room on the second floor is a further bedroom with two single beds.
There is unrestricted on street parking on nearby streets to the property, and once you've parked your car, you won't need to move it again as everything is accessible on foot.

We had a lovely stay in Rose Cottage and particularly rated how close it is to the harbour and beach areas. The cottage is well equipped with everything we needed. Even though it's close to the pub it didn't disturb us, The parking is very challenging, but wasn't too much of an issue once parked as we spent most days on foot.
We've had a wonderful week in Rose Cottage, Weymouth is our happy place, the cottage was in an ideal place, though a bit of a hill to walk to from town (but we managed) 15 mins walk to the beach, 10 mins to the harbour. Always lots to do for families and adults alike. The cottage had all we needed. A lovely little garden which we had breakfast in every morning. Good comfortable beds/nice bedding. Good communication from the owners. Highly recommend.
We really enjoyed our stay at Rose Cottage. It was cosy, comfortable, with a lovely little garden and well positioned to Hope Square, the town centre and the beach. We'd also like to give a special mention to Amy from Jurassic Coast Holiday Homes, who was so helpful from the initial booking and again when we wanted to extend our stay there - many thanks Amy.
A perfect house, with everything you could need. All rooms were great and the bathroom, bath and shower were sheer luxury. Thank you for making your house available to use.
We enjoyed staying at this cottage. It's a nice house in a quiet location, a short walk from the centre. The house is well-equipped and cosy, with a nice garden when you want to sit outside. Weymouth is well-connected to the Jurassic coast, with all the major bus routes leaving from near the house. Would gladly stay there again.
The house is lovely - very warm and cosy and with a beautiful garden at the back. It's really well located for seeing all the different parts of Weymouth, but it's situated in a quiet street, so hardly any noise. The facilities are great and we didn't lack for anything. Really recommend this as a relaxing, comfortable place to stay.
Amazing place to stay. This house is in a great location right by the harbor. Clean tidy and well equipped. Both beds were very comfortable. All round a perfect stay with my 17-year-old daughter.
