About this space
Laurel House is a former
station masters railway house, one of two larger houses in the
terrace. The house is deceptively spacious, with plenty of room to
enjoy a holiday with extended family and friends. On the ground
floor is the south facing living room, with comfortable sofa
seating, TV and DVD player. All of the ground floor is open plan,
past the feature pillars is the kitchen with breakfast island,
large american style fridge freezer and 'Stoves' gas cooker. The
dining area is incorporated within the kitchen, a perfect place for
entertaining around the long dining table with seating for 10.
Patio doors lead out to the enclosed garden at the rear, with BBQ,
loungers and outdoor dining furniture. Also on the ground floor is
a utility room and ground floor W.C. cloakroom. Up to the first
floor, you'll find the master king size bedroom with it's very own
shower. Also on the first floor is the family bathroom, a king size
bedroom with wash hand basin, a single bedroom and a double bedroom
with wash hand basin. Up to the second floor is a twin bedroom and
handy cloakroom with wash hand basin.
There is unrestricted on street parking outside the house and in
the nearby residential streets. The area is residential and quiet
but very well connected, just a half an hour walk through Radipole
gardens to Weymouth harbour and beach. You can also walk through
the Lodmoor Country Park, with miniature steam railway and crazy
golf there is plenty to see and do on your doorstep. Just a short
drive away is the County town of Dorchester with bustling twice
weekly market and Brewery Square for shopping, cinema and chain
restaurants.

Lovely house, well situated. Easy check in, very clean. House as described.
Great for dogs as there is a secure garden plus a local park a few minutes walk away. Comfortable house, well equipped kitchen property would benefit from another bathroom but worked fine for the weekend. I'd return.

A lovely house to stay in not far from Weymouth Harbour, and very lovely house to stay in highly recommend.
Had a great stay - a group of friends on a crafting weekend. The house was spacious and made socialising easy. Plenty of room to all sit around the table to eat etc. Parking was easy outside the house or in the roads nearby. We popped to Lidl several times (5 min walk). Great that the dog could come too. Thanks - would highly recommend.
We had a wonderful stay here, the house is absolutely beautiful & very well equipped for a large family with everything you could possibly need. The welcome treats were also much appreciated, thank you. We would love to come back in the future.
