We had a great stay in Poxwell. The cottage was beautiful in lovely peaceful surroundings. Ken popped in with home grown veg as a treat. The private outside dining and BBQ area was ideal for our evening meals after a long day out. It's a perfect base for a family holiday on the Jurassic coast. Lulworth Cove, Durdle Door and Weymouth all within short drives. So many other places in the area to visit. Thoroughly recommend.

I really wanted to share our experience. Stable Cottage is in the most stunning setting and location amidst beautiful landscaped gardens with a private patio garden secure for dogs. Impeccably decorated throughout. The owners were on hand and delightful . We can't wait to revisit.

This was a return visit to Poxwell Manor and our first in their recently converted Stable Cottage. The new cottage is very cosy and well equipped, with a smart, private garden and terrace for eating or sitting out. The Manor House, surrounded by its large landscaped gardens, feels pleasantly isolated, but is less than 15 minutes drive from the great beaches, cafes, restaurants, shops and bars of Weymouth. It is are also well placed for exploring the surrounding Jurassic coastline. Last but not least, the owners of Poxwell Manor, are charming and always happy to help.

Excellently converted stables, very well appointed. Seven in our party and there was plenty of space, approach to the stables is amazing - enormous manicured gardens and hedges to a stately manor house surrounded by fields. The garden area was very private and the main patio is enclosed by a three sided 10' stone wall catching the sun. Short drive to the beach with a great beach cafe at ringstead, short drive to lulworth cove and durdle door, abbots swanery and abbots semi tropical gardens. We spent a lot of time on the patio watching the swifts , blue tits, great tits, and many more birds not to mention the bats swooping at dusk and the wood cocks calling. Close to foot paths. One of the best airbnb's we have stayed at, above and beyond our expectations.

An excellent place to stay with excellent host.

We had a wonderful weekend stay in Poxwell at the most beautiful cottage; great quiet location with easy access to Dorchester and Weymouth. The accommodation was clean and comfortable, had everything we needed, was tastefully decorated and we were welcomed with some scrumptious treats. The owners are lovely; very welcoming and accommodating. We had such a pleasant time that we extended our stay. Thanks to Amy and the friendly team at Jurassic Coast Holiday Homes for facilitating our long weekend away. We look forward to returning in the future.

We had a wonderful few days away in Dorset staying at Stable Cottage. The pictures absolutely don't do justice to this space, the property is spacious and well equipped with lovely touches throughout. Wouldn't hesitate to rebook when visiting Dorset again, and the owners were very friendly too when we met them.

Lovely place. Beautiful landscape and close to Weymouth, Lulworth Cove etc. Perfect for a new year stay.
