At the rear, you'll find a well-equipped kitchen with an AGA range and additional hob, leading out to a private enclosed garden, ideal for morning coffee or alfresco evenings.
Upstairs, the newly fitted family bathroom offers both a walk-in shower and a free-standing bath, adding a touch of luxury to your stay. There are two double bedrooms on the first floor and an additional loft room with two single beds, making this cottage a great choice for families or groups of friends.
Just a short stroll away you'll discover Newton's Cove, perfect for exploring rock pools or enjoying shallow waters at low tide. With everything accessible on foot and unrestricted street parking nearby, you won't need to move your car once you've arrived!
Rose Cottage makes a delightful base for your Dorset getaway, combining traditional cottage charm with a superb location close to the beach, harbour and all the attractions of Weymouth.
Kitchen: Fitted kitchen with integrated dishwasher, fridge and freezer. There is an AGA in the kitchen, which is available on request, please request this at the time of booking, as it takes a few hours to reach temperature. If you prefer conventional appliances, there is also an induction hob and an air fryer. The coffee machine is a ground coffee espresso machine. Breakfast bar with stools and patio doors opening out to the garden.
Living and dining room: Comfortable sofa seating, wall mounted TV with online channels and piano. There is a pull out dining table to seat four guests, armchair and feature fireplace.
First floor: Two double bedrooms and large family bathroom with walk-in shower and free-standing bath.
Second floor: Loft conversion with two single beds, glimpses of the sea.
Utility Room: Utility with washing machine, sink and W.C.
Pets: Sorry, no pets.
Garden: Enclosed rear garden with outdoor seating.
Parking: On-street parking is available in nearby residential streets. There is a small driveway (3.6 m) which guests are welcome to use for unloading on arrival and for parking during their stay if suitable. Please note that the street directly in front of the property is narrow, and any parking there is the guest's own responsibility.
Bed Linen and Towels: Provided, please bring your own beach towels. Please note: The Duvets and pillows are feather filled.
Fuel: Gas central heating.
Please note that a travel cot and highchair are not provided as the cottage is not suitable for small children. The cottage stairs are quite steep, which is typical for a property of this age.

First of all we did appreciate the bottle of wine that was left for us. It was a very nice welcome after a long journey. It is a nice cottage, very traditional with a modern twist. Large house with plenty of space for our family. Was extremely impressed with kitchen, and an Aga that we had never used before. The bath was all can say, great to bathe in!! The house was very clean and well furnished with traditional touches. Nice garden with perfumed flowers, was nice to sit out there. Having a washing machine was a bonus with 5 in the family. The converted attic room had terrific views of Weymouth and we would stand there looking out of the view. There was a pub near by, One night was 80s night and we did sit out in the garden listening to it. We would like to say we would stay here again, and we would recommend it. We had a lovely holiday.
We had a superb week in Rose cottage, the property is very well appointed with every home comfort you could ask for (the AGA was amazing and we want one at home now!) Lovely property with excellent views from the top floor, handy for the local pub and just a few steps down a terrace to the Harbour, Amy's help was very much appreciated - all highly recommended

Our party was 4 adults and a baby and there was plenty of
space for us all without feeling like we were on top of each
other!!
local pubs were great, beach is a short walk and there were
lots of great things to do both locally and within half an hours
drive!
A perfect house, with everything you could need. All rooms were great and the bathroom, bath and shower were sheer luxury.
