Outside, there is an enclosed and private rear garden with a patio seating area and a large lawn bordered by mature shrubs. The driveway parking for two cars makes it easy to park securely, along with additional on-street parking nearby. Please note: The property is within walking distance of Swanage town centre and the beach. The walk into town is downhill and takes approx 10-15 mins, however, guests should be aware that the return journey to the cottage involves an uphill walk at the end of the day.

Swanage itself is a classic Dorset seaside town on the edge of the Isle of Purbeck, known for its traditional promenade, safe swimming beach, and proximity to the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site.
