The Space

Finished to a high standard throughout, Holly Tree House combines comfort and quality with a light, welcoming feel. The ground floor comprises a large open-plan living, kitchen, and dining area, with wonderful large windows that frame the mature enclosed garden. The entrance hallway is modern and welcoming, with a large wood and glass staircase leading to the first floor. Upstairs are two further bedrooms overlooking the garden, with Juliet balconies. The king-size bedroom benefits from its own en-suite bathroom. The twin bedroom sits just next door, with two single beds. On this floor there is also a family bathroom with both a bath and shower.

Outside, there is an enclosed and private rear garden with a patio seating area and a large lawn bordered by mature shrubs. The driveway parking for two cars makes it easy to park securely, along with additional on-street parking nearby. The location is ideal for exploring the area, with Durlston Country Park just a short walk away and Swanage town centre and beach approximately a 10-minute walk, offering easy access to shops, restaurants, and the traditional Victorian seafront.

Please note:  The property is within walking distance of Swanage town centre and the beach. The walk into town is downhill and takes approx 10-15 mins, however, guests should be aware that the return journey to the cottage involves an uphill walk at the end of the day.

The Area

Swanage itself is a classic Dorset seaside town on the edge of the Isle of Purbeck, known for its traditional promenade, safe swimming beach, and proximity to the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site. From the property, guests can easily explore coastal paths, Durlston Country Park, and nearby coves, making it especially attractive for walking holidays and relaxed seaside stays.
