Seafeathers

The house was beautifully divided and decorated. The light domes made it very bright and friendly. The large door to the terrace was particularly beautiful. The space behind the house was also very comfortable. The kitchen was very well-equipped. The freezer was in the garage which was no problem.

The place is beautiful and we had a lovely time. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay and more. The terrace has beautiful views… we really enjoyed our stay.

A lovely well kept cottage, so peaceful with a great view of the sea and Portland beyond. All amenities were as described on the Airbnb Web site. Would certainly consider returning!!

We stayed for a week 3rd through 10th May 2024 and what a week we had. The weather was amazing and the location of Seafeathers was perfect. The house is nestled within a residential area but you are not at all overlooked nor is your peace interrupted, you cannot hear any noise / disturbance from the neighbouring homes. Upon our arrival we had milk in the fridge and tea and coffee for our 'pre-unpacking'ing'' cuppa. All items required for a week's stay were there including, hand soap, dishwasher tablets, washing liquid, sponge and cloth. All utensils were at hand along with the often overlooked cling film and tinfoil …. Doggie poo bags were also provided. Just a short walk from Overcombe beach, we often finished our days with an after dinner stroll along the promenade, the beach at Overcombe is dog friendly and dogs are allowed all year. Please note that many beaches in the area do not allow dogs between 01 May through 30 Sept so check before exploring if you wish to access the beach. Perfectly placed, a relaxing 30/40 minute walk along the promenade , you are away from the hustle and bustle of Weymouth. This is a leisurely walk and you have the sea to watch all the way along. When not out exploring, the balcony at the front of the house is the perfect place to unwind with a drink. The house is all on one level and the dogs loved sitting out on the balcony watching the world go by. We struggled to get Blue in at night, he would have slept out there if we would Bebe let him. The back garden is fully enclosed and on two levels. The house level is a patio. Which is ample big enough to sit out if you are having a bbq. There is an out door table and chairs. The grassed area is a level up some concrete steps and again was plenty big enough for our two medium sized dogs to explore and play. We have already recommended this house to our friends both with dogs and without. The perfect setting for exploring the Jurassic Coast. We will be back! The dogs absolutely love it!

A very comfortable bungalow with a lovely patio area. Furnished to a high stand and very well equipped. Easy to walk into Weymouth or down to the local beach. Lots of dog friendly places to eat. Amy was very helpful and responded quickly to messages.

This is an absolute gem. Almost don't want to tell you about it, in case you book the next dates I want! Stylish and then some....we loved the subtle and stylish Christmas decorations, and the space & light in the house. Luckily we had great sunny weather, so we could enjoy the balcony even in late November. Perfect secure back garden for our dog. Fantastic location, so quiet and so near to amazing beaches. Hugely recommend.

lovely place to stay literally round the corner is weymouth and then access to loads of other beaches near! very nice Modern home with everything you need very clean! enclosed back garden lovely sea views a drive which is a little tight either side as you get out of car but apart from that i'll defo go back and in the summer on the top balcony would b great

Seafeathers is a modern, light, cosy bungalow with the most spectacular sea views. The kitchen is equipped with all essentials and more. We enjoyed our week here in a quiet location but within easy reach of all Dorset has to offer. We will definitely return.

Our second time staying with Jurassic Coast Holiday Homes - Amy is fantastic, super helpful and responds quickly! Our stay at Seafeathers was perfect, exactly as described. The property was clean and beautifully decorated. Had everything and more than you would need for a short or long stay. Quiet location and a perfect spot for staying in and enjoying relaxation the property provides whilst also only being 45 minute walk from Weymouth town but because of this the views were amazing. Good base for visiting various areas of Dorset. Overcombe beach is a short 10 minute walk down the hill, where there is a lovely cafe and local shop. We will be staying with Jurassic Coast Holiday Homes again!

We all had a blast, the location made access to places and spaces super easy, I ran everyday down to the beachfront and did a fantastic six mile loop with dog in tow. Sundowners at Oasis Cafe while the kids played at the shoreline just idyllic. The guide in the house super helpful for tasty bites and places to go. We'll be back

The property was stunning with amazing distant sea views. It was about a 40 minute walk into the centre of Weymouth along the beach. Communication with the Hosts agent was swift and the property was immaculate. 10/10. Justin, Sarah and Biscuit the dog. 

We really enjoyed our stay at Seafeathers. The accommodation was excellent: very clean, light and airy, well-equipped and conveniently located. We particularly enjoyed the balcony at the front with the sea views and the homely decor. There was plenty of room to cook and relax. It was helpful to have a fully enclosed garden for our dog.
