The cottage was lovely, clean and had everything we needed. The beds were comfy. The location in incredible, there is everything on your doorstep, you could easily leave the car for as long as you are there. we walked into Weymouth and got the bus back. Everywhere is very dog friendly we had no issues at all taking our beagle into shops and restaurants. Highly recommend the crab house just round the corner. Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door are a must too. My only issue, which I should have spotted when booking was that there is nowhere to let the dog out except the big green on the front. No private garden so that was a faff but not major.

Great place to stay. Good range of facilities. No dishwasher. Rug in dining room very slippery so we just removed it. Everything else perfect. Owner response time minutes when sent a non urgent query....couldn't have been better. Everybody had a good time - especially the dog - the room off the kitchen for dog washing etc is a great idea.

Really lovely place, well kitted out and spotlessly clean. Great to have Smallmouth sandy and dog-friendly beach just 2 minutes walk away, and the beach 'kit' (trolley with chairs, bucket and spade, picnic set) was very useful! Also great to be able to walk to the Crab House and Billy Winters for great food. The perfect stay for our little family, thank you!

Absolutely delighted to have found this little gem! Superb location for all tourist attractions, supermarkets, walks and beaches. The house was perfect - bigger than my house at home with lovely new decor and furniture and everything you could possibly need. The beds were super comfy - no expense spared! Neighbours all really friendly a and helpful and it was a very dog friendly area. No complaints at all - lovely holiday and would definitely return to this property.

Great place to stay for Weymouth and Portland. This cottage is ideal for dog owners, dog food bowls and treats there ready for your 4 legged friends. The cottage was beautifully decorated and very clean. The welcome pack was great, with tea, coffee and a pint of fresh milk in the fridge. There was a Tassimo coffee machine with pods provided. There was also ice ready in the freezer for pre dinner cocktails Loved the trolley with all you needed for the beach( 5 min walk to Smallmouth Beach) . This is a great beach if you have small children, as well as great for SUP The covered over yard is ideal for washing off sandy equipment and dogs

We had a wonderful family holiday here with our 2 and 5 year old. Had all we needed for us and the kids (travel cot, high chair & stair gate). Hosts were very helpful with recommendations for local family friendly restaurants for lunch (Billy Winters was our favourite) and we cooked at home in the well supplied kitchen most evenings. We spent 3 days at Smallmouth beach, just a few minutes walk away, and explored Weymouth using the excellent bus service. We also walked the Rodwell trail to Sandsfoot castle, beach & cafe. It was nice not to have to drive everywhere. The parking at the house is fine for a normal sized car (we have a Honda civic). Bedrooms and bathrooms were very nice. Top bedroom did get warm on sunny days, but opening the windows let the sea breeze cool it down quickly. The storage space at the back of the house was very handy to keep the pram, beach equipment and to dry off wet things. We had a great holiday, would stay here again and would recommend.

Property was clean and well maintained. The lean-to was perfect for muddy boots and storage. Comfortable and cozy with the fire in the lounge. Amy was easy and pleasant to communicate with. Would love to return one day.

Our party absolutely loved the cottage and its position. Lovely newly renovated cottage equipped with absolutely everything you may need. Short walk down to the Fleet and costal walks. Dog friendly. I would certainly return.

A Lovely house, beautifully presented, everything needed for a perfect stay. Clear instructions and hints and tips for the local area. Ensuite in the main bedroom is lovely with a beautiful bathroom next door.
Views of Portland harbour and only a 6 minute drive to the Sailing academy.
Secure off street Parking outside the property.
Bus stop to Weymouth town center or Portland a 2 minute walk away.
